Remember Surkin? He was a popular producer during the 2007-2008 era electro madness. Surkin is known for his remix work and a solid series of original material. He’s come back with some heavy hitting tracks on a 3-song EP. Check out the songs and, of course, the silver penis looking album artwork today.

It would seem that a new Danger EP is dropping soon… hell yes. He released this cool original trailer that looks like the intro of an SNES game. Freaking awesome. I now get what sort of image he’s been trying to project all this time.

So after what would seem like a drought of good electro, I come across new Neo Tokyo, Edwin van Cleef, and now Mille (Sweden). His sound is pretty smoothed over and not as aggressive compared to what is normally accepted in electro (circa Justice, Boys Noize, etc). Mille’s debut single, Crysteena, instead has intense arpeggios that make for pretty epic build-ups.

It’s great that the genre still has new artists emerging that aren’t just putting out noise.
