This spring, a lot’s been going on. A lot of us would have what some focus groups call a life addiction.

So, new office means new break room. Ngmoco upgraded to a new space that can hold nearly 100 people… the last office maxed out at 40.

I finally hit up NYC for a weekend to visit Sean with Jesse and Paul C. coming through as well. Central park was incredible… and I failed hardcore deciding not to bring a cam. We got our cathedral fix.

My 24th happened at the house. Kane, Jesse,  Paul, and Jimmy showed up the night before and surprised me… because apparently they got drunk earlier that week and already committed to it. The party was legit; daytime drinking is so much easier.

And I learned a new game. Witness Amit ass Matani get iced.

Grandma & My sister Olivia this past weekend on Easter.

Work at ngmoco has been ramping up fairly hardcore. With the success of our two new games We Rule & Godfinger, the company has been blowin’ up; so many new hires that I don’t even know 1/4 of everyone’s name. Amit and I are gearing up to work on our 2nd game and he’s positioned himself as the lead coordinator, or as the process calls it, the ScrumManager, which I’m totally fine with. I’ve been practicing Ruby (an elegant programming language) a lot lately and brushing slightly with Ruby on Rails (framework atop Ruby for websites) in order to get my chops up to less-than-failure status (I’m so fucking tired of PHP). While I cannot delve into details of the new game, it’s going to blow Epic Pet Wars out of the water… guaranteed.

Moving on… it’s not the weekend yet, but it’s time to post bangers anyway… at 6:45AM.

We went to Jimmy’s in Pasadena to rearrange his desk/TV setup. (before)

Easter dinner is up with the family tomorrow… my grandma is as sharp as ever so I’ve got a good feeling. Later on tomrorow evening, hopefully we can hit up will as chang’s pad in LA for some true schooling on the art of bachelor pads.

Finally got around to hanging up michelle’s artwork.

I got a new desk that sits flush with the wall. It’s much, much better than the awkward huge desk I had prior. I’ve moved the studio monitors to the corners once I admitted to myself that Ableton is just not on my radar right now. Everything works nicely with the vinyl deck as well; my LPs are much more accessible and the stereo sound is noticeably improved.

Mr. Taemoo came over and we hit the slopes with Helen, Mich, and Jason. Excellent evening.

Lastly, it’s been stirfriday quite a bit lately… the dankattack of steamed veggies and marinated chicken is too easy of a dinner.

Jason taught me a thing or two about the 3 priority settings on my GF1. I’m still not comfortable with using them but it is so much easier to learn when someone explains it to you rather than reading some tutorial. Life’s good here at 924 Treat.
