Going to Heavenly during Superbowl weekend was probably the best idea I’ve gone through with all winter. I was planning on canceling the weekend trip, but since Mich has just come back from Sweden, she really wanted to go snowboarding so we went Saturday & Sunday. Essentially it was the best snow I’ve ever boarded in my life: about 3-6 inches of unpacked powder on trails and 2 inches of powder on all runs. It was snowing all day Saturday and, as the pictures tell, it was gorgeous. The season pass is now officially money well spent.

Oh, and I guess the Saints won.
